Nazih first saw the importance of Financial Planning and Life Insurance when his cousin immigrated to the US with his family. Within a month, he had a heart attack and passed away, leaving his wife and 2 children lost. When Nazih came to the US 30 years ago, the American Dream called to him, but when he saw the employees of local businesses, who were living paycheck to paycheck, desperately needing help and advice he felt he could help. In 2006 Nazih joined New York Life and later formed Blue Cedar, where his passion and calling continues, working with and helping better employees and business owners in the community.
David embarked on his career journey with New York Life in 2019, initially serving as an agent. Within two years, he pivoted into a managerial role, becoming the office manager under Nazih's guidance. Over time, David's responsibilities broadened to encompass client services, specializing in group benefits, and eventually assuming the role of Director of Operations. He collaborates closely with DA team members, general agencies, and direct carriers to ensure streamlined operations and superior service delivery.
Dawson began his career in financial services by starting his own practice during his final year in college. In that first year in the business, he discovered that his true passion was in the construction and management of investment portfolios. Today, Dawson oversees our entire suite of investment products and works closely with our strategic partners in the industry to deliver best-in-class client experiences.
Yajaira is passionate about fostering strong relationships and driving growth through strategic sales initiatives. With 10 years of experience in sales, she’s honed her skills in identifying client needs, negotiating win-win deals, and providing top-notch customer service. Her approach combines a deep understanding of the market with a proactive and consultative sales style, allowing her to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results.
Malek Yehya is a developer and data manager at Blue Cedar, making inhouse programs for automation and managing our Salesforce. He has a passion for numbers and making the workplace more efficient.
Arin Moradian is a Southern California native, who graduated from California State University of LA with a finance degree. He started his career in the financial industry in 2007 at City National Bank where he was the head of Wealth Management for ultra-wealthy clientele in Beverly Hills. In 2013 he joined the ranks of New York Life Ins. and Eagle Strategy as a financial planner catering to business owners and highly compensated executives. His passion is strategizing with clients to increase profitability and quality of life. Arin welcomed his baby girl in June 2023 and she has quickly taken over his heart and focus. He enjoys biking, outdoors and spending quality time with friends and family.
Chad Worozaken began his career in the financial services industry in 2009 after graduating with a degree from California State University, Long Beach. As a Chicago native, Chad launched his career with several investment companies in the Windy City. Through various mergers, he spent almost a decade with Wells Fargo Advisors, landing in Los Angeles. After welcoming his first child in 2016, Chad decided to move his practice to New York Life in 2017. He works with families and small businesses on wealth accumulation and retirement planning, emphasizing tax-diversification strategies. Chad and his wife have three children. He loves coaching all of his kids’ sports, fishing and exploring the great outdoors of sunny southern California.
Martin Petoyan began his career in the financial services industry in 2011 after graduating with a degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. After having exposure to the field early on with notable companies like Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, he decided to establish his career as an agent and financial professional with New York Life in 2012. Being a Los Angeles native, Martin enjoys being active by playing basketball, participating in spartan races, hiking, meditating, cooking, and reading.
Christian earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Financial Planning and Risk Management from California State University, Fullerton in 2015. After completing internships under reputable Financial Advisors that were started while being a student, Christian saw the impact that was being done and decided to join shortly after. When Christian is not working, he enjoys dedicating time to his family and personal passions, such as playing golf or going skiing.
